Evaluation Research on the Efficiency of Agricultural Information Service Websites with DEA Method

Abstract: Agricultural informatization should consider the agricultural digitization first. The foundation work of digital agriculture is the construction of agricultural information networks. Based on the current methods of website evaluation, an indicator system of efficiency evaluation for agricultural information website was constructed in this paper. Then the operating efficiencies of 17 municipal websites in Shandong province were analyzed. The result declared that 3 of these websites were relatively effective, accounting for 17.6% of the websites, and the other 14 were non-effective. By conducting projection analysis, it also gave suggestions to improve the performance of non-effective websites.
