Research on the Application of Portal Authentication Technology in Public Library’s WiFi Network

Abstract: Portal authentication technology is a important kind of WiFi network authentication technology. With the approaching of mobile time, the utilization of public library’s WiFi network has grown rapidly, which raised higher requirements for the safety and efficiency of WiFi network, therefore the portal authentication technology arises at the historic moment. This paper outlined the principle and implement process of portal authentication technology and compared it with the traditional ways of WiFi network authentication, and realized the construction of portal authentication system through Wiwiz.
