Brief Analysis on the Current Situation and Future Trend of E-books

Abstract: With the continuous improvement of information technology, E-books has also developed at a fast pace, but the definition and categories of which can not drawn unanimous conclusion. Through the explanation about the definition and components, this paper tried to divide the development history of E-books into initial infancy stage, emergence stage and rapid development stage, and made a prospect to the future development of E-books and proposed the new development trend of abundant contents and diversified forms, including business model innovation, industrial chain upgrading and copyright awareness enhancement.
