Study on University Library Service Innovation Based on Media Information Education

Abstract: The omnimedia environment has changed the information behaviors of university students. Lifelong learning and social development require college students to have higher media information literacy. University library should complete the functional transformation through innovative service, and become the media of information spreading and the base of media information literacy education for university students. This paper analyzed the necessity of effective integration between media information literacy education and information service, and proposed to improve educational service function of university library through the omnimedia of resource construction, information service and literacy education.
