Discussion on the Construction of the Characteristic Database for Intelligent Buildings and Its Improvement——An Empirical Study of Anhui Jianzhu University

Abstract: Relying on the characteristic disciplines of architecture and related professional resource in Anhui Jianzhu University, starting from the discipline construction and social needs, this paper built a comprehensive and systematic retrieval platform for the characteristic database of intelligent buildings, to collect the scattered documentation on intelligent buildings and provide special service for users by advanced information retrieval technology and internet. From the practical operation results, this platform operated well but still had some deficiencies. Some improvement suggestions were proposed.
