The Social Responsibility Evaluation System of Library During Transition Period

Abstract: In the information era, traditional library has reached a transition period. During this period, library should play its own unique social service function to undertake the social responsibility. Based on the balanced scorecard method, and combined with the Delphi method and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), this paper constructed a social responsibility evaluation system for library in transition period, covering four dimensions of finance, customer, internal process, learning and growing, so as to achieve the purpose of evaluating library’s social responsibility during the transitional period.
