Research on the Influencing Factors of Public Cognition Attitude in the Network Public Opinion of GMO

Abstract: To seize the commanding heights of GMT has become one of China's science and technology development strategy, but at present the research and transformation of China’s transgenic field is limited by several factors, including the public debate on GM safety issues. With the development of the Internet, the network public opinion has become a barometer of public sentiment, and to explore the public's GM cognitive attitude is of great practical significance. Herein by referencing the existing research results, and based on the Havland persuasion and situation model, this article used the method of structural equation model to study quantitatively the form factors of Internet users’ attitudes, and conducted the field research to verify the model results, and analyzed synthetically to draw the countermeasures and suggestions that guide reasonablely the citizens understand and support our strategies of the research and management of GMT.
