Brief Intruduction to the Application of MicroBlog in Library's Popularizing All-citizen Reading Activity

Abstract: Initiating All-citizen Reading is one of the most important ways to improve the cultural quality of Chinese people. As a cultural and educational institution and the centre of social document information, the library has an unshakable duty in initiating and popularizing All-citizen Reading Activity. Starting with the present situation of All-citizen Reading Activity, This paper analyses the methods and limitations of popularizing this activity. It focuses on the fastest new mobile Internet media--Micro blog . Not only does it analyze the distinguishing features and advantages of Micro blog, but it also approaches the necessity and methodology that the library makes use of Micro blog to initiate All-citizen Reading Activity. It also discusses some of the problems facing the library.
