[Purpose/Significance] Currently, most academic libraries utilize the RFID technology with duo-identification method, i.e. "Barcode+RFID tag" but the immature RFID technology and the parallel duo-system cause several issues. This paper provides solutions to the issues, and other academic libraries can use them as references. [Method/Process] This paper reviews the related literature and investigates the issues that arise from the application of the RFID technology such as erroneous identification, signal interference, and function overlaps in duo-systems which make them difficult to operate by librarians, system lagging if calling data frequently, and incompatibility between existing circulation workflow and the RFID technology. This paper summarizes the causes of these issues and explores solutions based on the case study of the RFID technology in the CAU library. [Results/Conclusions] This paper proposes a number of actions including tuning RFID parameters, refining environment conditions to improve tag identification accuracy, outputting and displaying shelf numbers on demand to improve work efficiency, disabling certain functions to resolve function overlaps and make system run smoothly, revising workflow to improve work productivity and enhancing training of the librarians, all of which improve the effectiveness of RFID technology and overall service quality.

[Purpose/Significance] The application of intelligent robots in library reference services has expanded the knowledge base for reference services and enhanced the user analysis ability of reference librarians. It provides accurate and personalized consultation services according to user needs and behavior patterns. It has improved the effectiveness, quality and satisfaction of reference services. [Method/Process] This paper discussed the shortcomings of traditional reference services. Applying the knowledge base construction and user demand analysis capabilities of intelligent consulting robots to reference services can effectively expand the boundaries of reference services, and improve the performance and the self-learning level of reference services. [Results/Conclusions] In the future, intelligent consulting robots need to be closely integrated with emerging information technologies, integrating user profiles, large and small data analysis, ontology and intelligent hardware, etc., to continuously improve the information problem solving capabilities and information service levels of intelligent consulting robots.

[Purpose/Significance] With Guizhou industrial innovation and technology literature service platform as a case, this paper studies its experience and problems in the process of construction and service, so as to provide reference for less developed areas to build scientific and technological information platform and explore the service mode.[Method/Process] Based on the case study, this paper comprehensively sorts out the data and materials related to the number of users, visits and downloads of the platform since the operation of the "three-level" service system in Guizhou Province, and conducts in-depth research to summarize the experience of the platform construction and the problems existing in the information service.[Results/Conclusions] In view of the existing problems, combined with the development characteristics of the scientific and technological information service platform in less developed areas under the current new era background, the paper proposes that the convenience of user experience should be taken into consideration for the platform construction, the service scope should be integrated with the development strategic planning of local key industries, and maintenance should strengthen the construction of the operation and the promotion system and the system safeguarding, so as to promote the innovative mode of scientific and technological information service and make new breakthroughs for the reference for decision makers.

[Purpose/Significance] The government work report mentioned nationwide reading for six consecutive years, and reading promotion has been carried out in the whole society. As an important place to carry out the national reading programs, in the context of the rapid development of modern technologies, colleges and universities are in urgent need of innovative practice of reading promotion to adapt to the development of the times, so as to provide useful reference for the research and practice of accurate promotion of reading.[Method/Process] Based on the social network analysis technology, this paper downloads the book loan data of undergraduates from China Pharmaceutical University from Huiwen system, calculates the distribution status of the network with UCINET, and explores the potential reading interest groups of undergraduates in social sciences.[Results/Conclusions] The application of the social network analysis technology to the analysis of undergraduate reading data discovers a reading group with undergraduate interest as the core. On this basis, this paper puts forward the promotion strategy of accurate reading, proposes the establishment of the complex network theory to mine the potential reading team model, and studies the internal dynamic mechanism of undergraduate reading teams.

[Purpose/Significance] Under the background of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation", the higher vocational colleges need to reallocate resources, be guided by improving students' innovative literacy, abandon the disadvantages of traditional information literacy education and expand the connotation and extension of traditional information literacy from "information literacy" to "innovation literacy". [Method/Process] Based on the analysis of the concept and connotation of innovation literacy and the related research status at home and abroad, the paper constructs the evaluation index system of innovation literacy in higher vocational colleges, designs the questionnaire and takes Guangdong Industry Polytechnic as the research object, analyzing the current situation of innovation literacy of vocational college students. [Results/Conclusions] In view of the existing problems, this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures, such as optimizing the training orientation, reshaping the educational concept, reforming the educational content and promoting the educational means.

[Purpose/Significance] In view of the lack of vocational data literacy education, based on the cognitive survey of data literacy of teachers and students in Guangdong Polytechnic of Science and Technology (GDPST), this paper provides reference for vocational colleges to establish a scientific and reasonable data literacy training system, build the corresponding curriculum system, and rationally allocate limited teaching resources.[Method/Process] Based on the existing data literacy index system, the data literacy evaluation system of vocational colleges is constructed, and the cognition and ability of data consciousness, data collection, data organization and management, data analysis, data utilization and archiving, data ethics, and "third-order progressive" type of higher vocational data literacy education system are investigated by means of questionnaires. [Results/Conclusions] The results show that teachers and students in GDPST have a certain degree of data awareness, but their ability to obtain business data is insufficient. They have basic data analysis ability and expression ability, but their ability in exploring the in-depth value of data is insufficient. There are significant differences in data collection, organization and management, analysis, utilization, and archiving capabilities among groups. It is believed that the design of the education system should be carried out from the three tiered levels of "bottom-improved-advanced", so as to improve teachers and students' comprehensive ability of data literacy.

[Purpose/Significance] A digital library plays an important role in students' learning and scientific research work. Therefore, it is necessary to have a deep understanding of the behavior of users and actual usage of digital libraries. It will lead to the complete and comprehensive digital library construction. [Method/Process] Based on the technology acceptance model (TAM) and qualitative analysis on the research works, the research first proposes the digital resources utilization behavioral model of university students in ethnic minority areas by including the factors of the system characteristics, interface characteristics and the individual differences and adding the information quality factors, and then, carries out path analysis with structural equation modeling. [Results/Conclusions] The results show that the perceived usefulness and the perceived ease of use have a positive effect on students' acceptance of digital information system. System characteristic, personal difference and the information quality factors positively affect the Han students' use of information resources, while system characteristics, self-efficacy and the perceived ease of use positively affect the Mongolian university students' acceptance and use of system.

[Purpose/Significance] Carrying out the community library reading promotion is beneficial to improving national quality, spreading urban civilization and cultural tourism integration. [Method/Process] Through the investigation of 9 scenic spots community libraries, the author finds that the scenic spots need to be enriched by culture, and point out the problems and opportunities of community reading promotion. To alleviate the insufficient human resources and reading spaces, the paper proposes that relying on the existing conditions of the community and making full use of the community party members' activity rooms, scenic spots and other places can be a way out. [Results/Conclusions] Community is the basic unit in China. Community libraries should upgrade their service concept, optimize their service systems, expand their channels of user participation, and encourage all social forces, including community members, to participate in the community reading promotion.

[Purpose / Significance] Through review of the current status of electronic resource purchasing consortium, we discuss the current problems and put forward improvement suggestions. [Method / Process] This paper explores technological development of different types of consortia, provides an in-depth analysis of organization management framework, purchase workflow and ways of cost allocation, summarizes the features and highlights and analyzes the shortcomings or problems. By referring to typical purchase cases of library consortia in and outside of China and studying related studies, we put forward countermeasures and suggestions in six aspects by combining the actual situation of libraries in funding and platforms. [Results / Conclusions] The paper points out the effective ways to improve the purchase efficiency of library consortia: 1) establishing improved operation systems; 2) optimizing price models and expanding fund-raising channels; 3) building the evaluation indicator system for evaluation of electronic resources based on multi-dimensional indicators including content, use and service; 4) integrating internal resources of the consortium and constructing unified information exchange platforms; 5) raising awareness of the law, and strengthening the leadership of the consortium in long term preservation and permanent use; 6) paying attention to cooperation with multiple parties, building consortia of different types in a flexible way and sharpening the competitive edge.

[Purpose / Significance] A mobile digital library as a new library service model in the wake of technological change, presents enormous future development and application prospects. As a new service system of modern digital library, its development and construction is a process of constantly updating and perfecting its data and technologies. [Method / Process] Through the analysis of a library's own service mode, this paper studied the application status of a mobile digital library. According to its architecture, the problems existing in current digital libraries were analyzed step by step. From the perspectives of a library's own data construction, wireless mobile communication technology, mobile digital library's service construction and intellectual property protection, this paper made a detailed analysis and exploration of the problems existing in the structure and service of a mobile digital library. [Purpose / Significance] We redesigned the book borrowing and returning function of the Library APP of Liaoning University of Technology to make the APP operate reasonably and run smoothly. Our design provides reference for the independent research and development of library APPs. [Method / Process] The design of foreground on the borrowing APP uses Android Studio as the development tool. The background development tool is Eclipse. The background was applied in the JFinal frame construction. The database is MySQL. MySQL indirectly linked to the Tomcat server. The front ground and background use the C/S pattern. The development language is the Java. The links of background patterns and iconsare of borrowing APP were simplified. [Results / Conclusions] The borrowing APP have been tested on the Android platform and different models of mobile phones. The interface of the borrowing function is clear, the operation is reasonable, and the operation is smooth. The performances of the redesigned APP were superior to those of the current version of our library APP.

[Purpose / Significance] Artificial intelligence (AI) technology into digital microfilm is of great significance for optimizing the mode of processing digital microfilms, building an information-based intelligent interactive platform, and comprehensively improving the digital microfilm service level and service capabilities. Aim of this study is to systematically sort, study and summarize the current application situation of AI technology in digital microfilming, and to provide reference for the future study in this field. [Method / Process] We enumerate the current application scenarios of AI in digital microfilming, and systematically analyze shortcomings of current applications, including insufficient research funds, shortage of talents and team, and incomplete data integration systems, and solutions are then proposed. [Results / Conclusions] With the development of intelligent application equipment and systems, AI strongly promotes development of digital microfilming. Through such development paths and strategies as innovative thinking, developing microfilm document database systems with intelligent screening, building intelligent digital microfilming process systems, and enhancing the training of teams, we will be able to promote the integration of digital and intelligent development. The intelligent service model integrated with processing is the development trend of the future digital micro-technology.

[Purpose/Significance] Brand service construction is the only way for the development of modern libraries. The development of public library programming services brand oriented to social problems is conducive to more accurately grasping the needs of users and improving the social responsibility of public libraries. [Method/Process] This article uses content analysis to investigate 146 brand services for the websites of 31 provincial public libraries in China, and analyzes the types of social issues, practice objects, and carrier forms of the above brand services. [Results/Conclusions] Promoting development of programming service brand oriented to social problems, we suggest to strengthen the organic combination of social responsibility and service brand practice; attach importance to the long-term maintenance and management for the brand; maximize the resource advantages based on library characteristics.

[Purpose/Significance] Users have a low willingness to use a digital library, which affects the function of a digital library's collection service. This paper analyzes the influencing factors of digital library users' willingness to accept the library service, and explore the path to improve users' willingness to use the service. [Method/Process] Firstly, on the basis of sorting out the information system continuous use theories and dropout theory, we construct a theoretical model of digital library acceptance intention. Then, on the basis of 150 questionnaires, a multiple regression model is adopted to analyze the specific influencing factors of digital library users' acceptance intention. [Results/Conclusions] Satisfaction and intrinsic motivation have a direct significant influence, expectation confirmation has an indirect significant effect via satisfaction, and self-efficacy has an indirect significant effect via the intrinsic motivation. Their descending order of influence is as follows: expectation confirmation, self-efficacy, satisfaction and intrinsic motivation.

With the introduction of the concept of web2.0, the concept of UGC (user-generated content) is also deeply rooted in people's mind. Nowadays, various platforms cannot live without UGC. The behavior characteristics of e-commerce users on the platform have a huge impact on consumers themselves, potential consumers, e-commerce platforms and product manufacturers. At present, most of the research on online comments is on the text content, and few researches on the timeliness of users' feedback. Through data crawling software, the commodity comment field and its quantity of Jingdong mall are crawled to study the timely feedback behavior characteristics of e-commerce user comments and the factors affecting these behavior characteristics. The behavior characteristics of e-commerce users' timely feedback are studied by combining charts and graphs, and the feedback time rule is obtained. SPSS was used for regression analysis of the data, and the main influencing factors were obtained. According to the research results, the behavioral characteristics and influencing factors of e-commerce users' timely feedback can be targeted to propose suggestions to platform managers, comment publishers and potential consumers.

To explore the correlation between library utilization and academic achievement of the undergraduate can evaluate the effectiveness of library learning support services, reveal the impact of library services on different readers, and provide data support for libraries to better play the role of learning support. This paper takes all undergraduate students of Nanjing Forestry University in 2014 as the research object. After extracting, transforming and cleaning the data, this paper develops the correlation between undergraduate library utilization and academic achievement aiming at the characteristics of different majors, grades and genders, using SPSS software and KS normal test, correlation analysis, analysis of variance, non-parametric test and other statistical analysis methods, and the use of library space and paper resources as data research indicators. It reveals there is a significant positive correlation and medium correlation scale between the undergraduate academic performance and the various libraries utilization data. Students of different grades, majors and genders have different frequency and preferences for library resources and services, and the libraries should adjust their service strategies to better support learning.

[Purpose/significance] Clarifying the relationship between library behavior and reader's emotion and reader's participation can help libraries manage librarians' behavior effectively, stimulate readers' positive emotion and encourage readers to participate actively, so as to improve readers' satisfaction and competitiveness of libraries.[Method/process] Taking the library of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University as an example, this paper introduces SOR model, constructs the influence relationship model of "librarian's behavior - reader's emotion - reader's participation", and uses regression model of SPSS software to empirically analyze the influence of librarian's behavior on reader's participation and reader's affection, and the intermediary role of librarian behavior and reader participation.[Result/conclusion] The results show that the librarian's behavior has a significant positive impact on reader participation, the librarian's behavior has a significant impact on reader's emotion, the reader's emotion has a significant impact on reader participation, and the reader's emotion plays a mediating role between the librarian's behavior and reader's participation.

[Purpose/significance] How to comprehensively utilize the advantages of both big data and ontology to provide personalized services is an urgent problem that libraries need to solve.[Method/process] Firstly, the modeling method for library user interests model is put forward based on big data and ontology technology, then, university libraries personalized services model based on big data and ontology technology is put forward. [Result/conclusion] Ontology technology can be seamlessly combined with big data to provide personalized services precisely.

Through the research and improvement of several common recommendation algorithm, and combined with the computer database technology, the paper wants to construct the books directional push mode. While the reader is browsing web pages or querying library resources in the library, he'll receive personalized book recommendation from library. This research newly makes up for the deficiency of the existing book recommendation mode, and improves the achievement ratio of the book recommendation.

As the development of the computer 3D processing ability and the digital library, virtual reality technology gradually extends to the field of library, which makes virtual reality library become a new type of intelligent service form of library. This paper summarizes the research situation of virtual reality technology in foreign and domestic medical university libraries, then expounds that developing the virtual reality technology in medical university library has a great effect on the four aspects of collection resource construction, knowledge management, cultural heritage preservation and reader service, finally analyzes the difficulties of virtual reality technology in the development of medical university libraries and explores solutions.

[Purpose/significance]The paper sorts out the overall activities of science popularization reading promotion in order to provide thoughts and solutions. [Method/process]The paper uses statistics method and case study, taking the collected cases as research sample, analyses the status quo and characteristics based on activities' content, subject and object, and further studies on future main development point based on typical cases.[Result/conclusion] Popular science reading and promotion activities are diverse in the main body, and the participation of social forces is high; the types of activities are rich and varied but not focused; the content of activities is mainly based on bibliographic recommendation and digital reading; clearly distinctive on activity objects. The paper proposes that the public library takes the popular science books and reading materials as the core and purpose, and takes the development path of "inducing reading interest, focusing on the dissemination and popularization of scientific knowledge, and branding continuous promotion activities".

Just in Time /JIT, created by the Japanese automaker Toyota in mid-20th Century, has been a leading philosophy for both production and inventory management for decades. Libraries in the U.S. increasingly are applying this philosophy to managing collections and services. It is a departure from the more traditional just-in-case /JIC model used for centuries. From selection, to collection building, collection development, and now collection services, the evolution on the terms describing the professional activities surrounding library collections reflects how libraries build their collections at different times. JIT collection services have taken over most libraries in the U.S. What is it and how is it applied? This paper describes the JIT model by practices from the U.S. libraries.

In order to optimize the running strategy of sci-tech journals and improve their influence, this study analyzed the relationship between journal influence, publication delay and quantity of papers by using influence factor as the index of journal influence. The agricultural journals were taken as an example. Impact factors were normalized to eliminate the influence of natural factors of journals such as popularity of a journal on the impact factors so that the journals were comparable. Then, models were established to quantify the relationship between normalized impact factors and publication delay (or publication delay and paper load). The normalized impact factor would not affected by publication delay until the publication delay was smaller than 350 d (about 1 year) at least. The logarithm of normalized impact factor changed with logarithm of paper load and publication delay following a linear function. According to the model, the normalized impact factor decreased with increasing the paper load when the paper load was between 300 and 700, otherwise, it increased with paper load. Therefore, we suggested to shorten the publication delay within 1 year at least and adjusted the paper load according to model in order to improve the influence of journals.

This paper analyzes the current situation of the construction of intelligent bookshelf in college libraries and summarizes its construction experience. It aims to develop and design a set of intelligent bookshelf management system based on the actual situation of Shenyang Aerospace University Library to improve the intelligent service level of the library. Through the case of intelligent use of bookshelves in domestic university libraries, this paper summarizes the problems and solutions in the process of intelligent library design in college libraries, and proposes a library intelligent bookshelf construction method based on the comparison and processing of collection data. The design and development process of the intelligent bookshelf system is realized based on software. Intelligent service has become a new way for university libraries to improve their own services. The intelligent bookshelf construction method based on data analysis and processing focuses on reducing development difficulty and saving implementation cost. It is practical and popular, and it is a kind of innovative model of intelligent service for university libraries.

In view of the low exchange of big data shared resource in libraries domestic and foreign, and the lack of one-stop service platform crossing all standalone system, this paper his paper is focused on improving the sharing and utilization of digital resources from the technical aspect, proposes a structure model for the sharing of library digital resource based on Hadoop to solve the problem of low sharing performance and the lack of systematic management. Moreover, it provides readers with a multi-faceted service.The system uses MapReduce distributed computing framework and a resource management system to process digital resource data in parallel to achieve fast correlation search and processing of digital resources, and introduces a composite library big data storage system based on HDFS which can guarantee the storage requirements of the resource sharing system, effectively improve the access efficiency for the readers, and solve the scalability problems faced by the traditional storage technologies.

Agricultural science and technology resources play a crucial role in promoting agricultural type transformation of a country. This paper analyzes high frequency keywords of agricultural science and technology, builds a dynamic model of agricultural science and technology resources and carrys on the simulation. Using BICOMB and gCLUTO, this paper precipitates the themes and a strategic diagram of the field of agricultural science and technology after compared with the generated map of NetDraw and VOSviewer. In the VensimPLE environment, this paper carry on the simulation. International agricultural science and technology resources research includes five main themes as follows: agricultural science and technology innovation research, policy and environment of agricultural science and technology resources research, agricultural science and technology andrural economic development research, sustainable agricultural science and technology resources research, and agricultural science and technology resources allocation and utilization research. The simulation results show that the promotion of agricultural science and technology resources, the increase of users rely on the diversification of channels and ways of supplying. Combined with the survey data, this paper analyzes the rural information infrastructures and user accesses.

In recent years, with the establishment and development of "AlphaGo", "Internet +", big data, industrial system of intelligent city, artificial intelligence is more and more widely applied to all aspects of life. Artificial intelligence technology is of great significance to the development of Library Intelligence. The author demonstrates the superiority of applying the artificial intelligence technology to the library by the development trend of the artificial intelligence at home and abroad. Combined with the characteristics of academic libraries, this paper expounds four business operation fields on Literature Resources Construction, circulation management, service for readers and Reference Service. It designs the main modules in the management process systems: entrance guard system, books borrowing and returning system and seat reservation system. This paper designs a specific scheme for library intelligent service from two aspects of business operation process and management process, in order to provide some reference for the future development of artificial intelligence library.
