New Connotation of Information Literary Education in Public Library

Abstract: This paper first discussed the definition of information literacy and its evolution at home and abroad. By introducing the practice done by National Library of China in resource integration, online reading, multimedia reading service, it tried to explore the new strategies and service mode of information literacy education for public library, as well as the future development of subject education for library science.
