The Present Situation and Development Protection of Mongolian Oral literature

Abstract: Mongolian oral literature widely exist in the Mongolian areas and is the historic reflection of Mongolian nomadic life. This paper studied and discussed the development and protection of Mongolian oral literature. On the basis of the literature resource in Inner Mongolia University Library, it analyzed and summarized the present situation and types of Mongolian oral literature by using semi-structured interview method, as well as the status, measures and problems of the development and protection of Mongolian oral literature, and put forward relevant strategies and suggestions based on the concept of intangible cultural heritage protection and local characteristics.
