Abstract: The international research status of emergency management was mastered, and the development trend was predicted by analyzing the related literature, to promote the development of emergency management theory and practice in China. The literature about emergency management with higher citation frequency in the American SCI Database was summarized, analyzed and introduced by using the method of document analysis and feature analysis. The foreign theoretical achievements can provide theoretical and practical references for the China's development in the field of emergency management.

Key words: emergency management, literature review, feature, trend
