Bibliometric Analysis on the Research Progress of Basic Farmland in China

Abstract: In order to accurately grasp the dynamic rule of research progress on basic farmland in China, this paper used bibliometric methods to analyze the literature about basic farmland in CNKI from the number, source and citation. The research showed that there were significant differences in the number of literature every year, its variation characteristics were mainly related to the land policy in China. The research content indicated that basic farmland protection was a hot topic. The research direction involved many fields covering agriculture, land, computer, resource and environment and so on, which reflected the relationship between person and land. The research teams concentrated on universities, which meant that the academic level of basic farmland research in China was relatively high.
