Feasibility Research on the Cooperative Storage of Literature with low Usage rate in University Libraries

Abstract: Insufficient literature storage space is always a troubling problem for libraries in the world. The literature with low usage rate held the literature storage space, intensifying the sense of space, while discipline construction and evaluation construction in universities requested the approval to the literature storage. Although literature with low usage rate was collected through dense bent, but it was still a drop in the ocean. This paper pointed out that constructing cooperative storage library can save the space, and show the literature with low usage rate to readers, as well as raise its usage rate, to provide complete and systematic literature guarantee for scientific research, and scientific reference for constructing regional cooperative storage library.
