A Study of the User Education in University Libraries for Outstanding Engineers Training

Abstract: According to the relevant requirements concerning “Outstanding Engineers Educational Training Program” issued by the Ministry of Education in 2010, this paper studies the intension, the educational mode and the implementation method of the user education in university libraries, thereby providing theories and experience references for the practice of the user education in university libraries. Emphasizing and utilizing the function of the user education in university libraries are an indispensible part for creative “outstanding engineers” training mode in universities.
