Focusing on Highly and Low Cited Papers and Improving the Academic Influence of JIA

Abstract: By comparing the number of papers per year, impact factor, zero cited article ratio, frequency of cited articles, and percentage of highly cited articles of Rice, Theoretical and Applied Genetics, Field Crops Research, European Journal of Agronomy, and Journal of Integrative Agriculture (JIA) during 2012-2016, problems in the development of JIA were discussed. Based on these results, it summarized how to learn from the advanced experience of other excellent journals, thereby improving the academic influence of JIA effectively.
