Abstract: Agriculture is the basis for the construction of China’s Four Modernizations, which is related to long-term stability of the country. As an important information resource center, to provide information resource service for the construction of agriculture is library’s unshirkable responsibility. In order to understand the status of library’s agricultural service in Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, this paper made the survey respectively on Library of HubeiI University for Nationalities, Enshi Vocational and Technical College Library, Library of Enshi Prefecture, Enshi City Library, and analyzed the service resource and service mode, and then found some existing problems including insufficient agricultural resource, single service mode, backwardness service means and low service level, and based on the actual circumstances of local libraries, finally proposed to change the service concept, enhance service resource development and update service mode, so as to improve the agricultural service level.
