Research on Service Innovation of University Library under the Background of MOOC

Abstract: This paper expounded the concept of MOOC and the significance of MOOC for higher education, and put forward that university library should provide data support for MOOC program through analysis of its own data like the borrowing data, library website access data and other information, and develop a personalized course list, participate in the construction of MOOC platform, provide the site for learning MOOC courses, and make full use of library’s hardware and electronic resource advantages to conduct learning exchange, embed MOOC courses with librarians and course-making, and provide information consulting and information literacy support service.
