The Design of Learning Commons Based on the new Pattern of Stack Management

Abstract: With the rapid development of information and network technology, library has encountered unprecedented chance and challenge, whose work mode and service concept also changed greatly. In digital time, how to divide the space of library and make full use of the space to satisfy users’ actual demands, how to make the culture function keep pace with the times, are the general problems of library. This paper put forward the new pattern of stack management, through changing the bookshelf layout, management methods and using the RFID technique, to build a new work mode, which could reduce the occupied space of bookshelf, adjust the arrangement of library space, find out the balance point between collection management and learning space and make the library to be an indispensable place in people’s life.
