Abstract: Combining with the problems and challenges of university library's information resource construction, as well as big data theory, this paper discussed the value and methods of applying big data in university library's information resource construction. During this process, university library should pay attention to select appropriate platform and tools, establish the relevant rules and regulations, and promote the development of librarians’ data skills.
