Exploring the suitable intelligent recommendation system is the key point for the construction of small and medium institutional repositories in establishing stable user group. Implementing quick, accurate and active information pushing is the foundation of development and the guarantee of survival for small and medium institutional repositories. In this paper, an integrated intelligent recommendation system was proposed, which effectively avoided the shortcomings and showed the advantages of some recommendation algorithms, and had good upgrade and scalability.

How to evaluate the user satisfaction of college library objectively and accurately is always a difficult research topic. In recent years, BP neural network technology has become one of the hotspots in college library user satisfaction evaluation, which is fully based on objective data and exploits the potential useful information effectively and avoids the influence of subjective factors. Compared to the traditional BP neural network, RBF neural network can learn faster and converge more easily. This paper applied RBF neural network in the user satisfaction evaluation of college library, and expounded the design and implementation of evaluation model based on RBF neural network, and then analyzed the effectiveness of this model by example.

The abstract of Medical academic article has a clear structure including objective, methods, results, conclusions. This paper used information entropy and manual screening method to extract keywords from each logic item of abstract, and then ranked the keywords and compared with original keywords. To improve the results of automatic extracting method, it calculated the weight of each item in abstract by using java program and offered a new ranking for the extracted keywords. The optimal experimental results showed that the ratio 7:1:1:4 for logic item could get the best effect of automatic extraction.

In the intraregional alliance construction of university library and local library, in order to improve efficiency and make users convenient, constructing user self-service system should be one of the most important measures for library alliance construction and innovative transformation development. ProQuest is the main full-text database of foreign periodicals in agricultural and forestry universities. Taking Shenyang Agricultural University as an example, this paper analyzed the usage of PAJ and PBJ and compared the utilization cost of relevant agricultural full-text databases of foreign periodicals. Based on the statistics of SCI papers in this university, it discussed the information support capability of ProQuest database from the perspective of SCI papers’ discipline and periodical distribution, expecting to provide reference for the allocation of agricultural &biological digital resource in agricultural and forestry universities.

Based on the B/S mode, this system implemented the autonomous study and examination of admission education by applying JSP, JDBS, jQuery and CSS technologies. Through optimizing the browser-side device adaption and docking with Libsys OPAC system, it modified the borrowing privilege of readers who passed the training and examination in time. The practice showed that this system could help improve the efficiency and service level of library.

Taking the highly cited papers on lichenology included in WOS during 1986-2015 as research objects, using visual software of Histcite to draw the citation chronological chart, this paper analyzed the literature distribution, research foundation, research focus and development route of this field, and described the main research approach, and then revealed its development history.

Based on searching results from web of science database, papers on wetland research during 1900-2014 period were collected and statistically analyzed. In conjunction with wetland science development, we analyzed temporal rules of relative papers, aiming to reveal differences of wetland research between China and America. Results indicated that, the Ramsar Convention concluded in 1971 greatly enhanced global wetland researches, inducing flourish of paper publication on wetland research. America has been predominant in wetland research since 1960s, however, gaps between China and America is now narrowing. Papers publication by Chinese researches showed the blowout growth and usually lags, but Papers on top journals were not so many as American. Compared with USA, wetland research strengths are more concentrated. In the future, enhancing self-innovation ability would be great challenges for wetland researchers in China, so as to strive for more discourse powers in global wetland research fields.

Based on 1883 articles published in CNKI between 2005 and 2014 on copyright system research, this paper used CiteSpaceIII to construct knowledge mapping to analyze their authors, institutes and subject words. Based on the analysis of the knowledge mapping, the paper analyzed the institute and author distribution and the knowledge focus of copyright system research.

This paper focused on the co-author analysis on big data research in domestic library and information field by regarding the related literature included in CNKI as study objects and using the method of social network analysis. Through analyzing the density and centrality of co-author relationship network, it found some results as follows: the degree of cooperation was low on the whole; Zhang Xing-wang was the core author in the network; every subgroup had its own characteristics; the big data research got strong support from funds.

[Purpose/Significance] We find the characteristics of co-authorship of Journal Papers in 4 key amphibious journals in library science and information science, which may help with supervisors of scientific search and scientific research personnel. [Method/Process] We collected all papers in this 4 journals during the period of 1985-2014. We discussed from the perspectives of co-authoring ratio, co-authoring degree and the papers distribution of deferent authors. [Result/Conclusion] Co-authorship is the main model to write paper; Co-authorship developed slowly during the first 20 years,and developed fast after 2004;Two or three authors’ co-authorship is the main model; People were more cooperative with technological paper than theoretical paper.

This paper constructed the public library efficiency evaluation index system from two dimensions of input and output. Using super-efficiency evaluate model and factor analysis rating method to estimate the efficiency of public libraries in 31 regions of the country in 2012, it provided basis for the public library to develop appropriate development strategies. The results showed that the efficiency of public library was affected by financial allocations and local population density, which suggested that regional governments should not only increase the financial allocations, but also set the location and scale of library and optimize the collection resource allocation as well as maximize the use efficiency according to the local population density.

Research competitiveness evaluation is a comprehensive indicator for evaluating the whole advantages and ability of research institutes. Taking SCI as the data source, and regarding four academies of agricultural sciences in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai and Shandong provinces as the research objects, this paper constructed the evaluation index system of research competitiveness from three aspects of research productivity, influence and excellence by applying bibliometrics indexes covering paper quantity, citation frequency, impact factor, H index and its derived indexes, and information technologies including data mining and programming. It made the correlation analysis on paper quantity and quality of each research institution, and evaluated their research competitiveness level and subject development objectively, and then summarized the problems and put forward some suggestions through data analysis, so as to provide high quality data support and reference for agricultural scientific research and scientific management decision.

Through the investigation of Hunan’s 33 university libraries on accessing their websites, this article analyzed the development trend and characteristics of reading activities in Hunan’s university libraries in recent years, and studied the ways, contents, promotion cooperation mechanism and evaluation of reading activities, and then put forward some constructive suggestions.

Innovative development is the eternal theme of library career, and trustee council is the distinctive mark of the modernization of public library governance capacity, which contains a profound connotation of institution in the constructing progress. The dilemma of institutional innovation was represented in the following areas: the legal person system existed in name only, the supply of legal system was insufficient, and the bureaucratic system was deep-seated. The practical ways to the modernization of public library governance capacity in the institution logic included the following four aspects: clearing the powers and responsibilities of the main body, collating and stipulating the governance boundary; improving the distribution of interests and reshaping the governance pattern; sounding the monitoring mechanism and standardizing the governance behavior; promoting the information disclosure mechanism and making the governance process transparent.

The impact of MOOC teaching model on higher vocational college library was analyzed aiming at the specific problems in the development process. Firstly, the weak foundation, backward idea and limited funds of higher vocational college library were summarized objectively. Further then, the MOOC model and its characteristics were introduced briefly and the feasibility of applying MOOC in higher vocational college library was analyzed. Lastly, the impact rule of MOOC development on higher vocational college library was researched from three sides including talent, interaction and resource, the great opportunity of higher vocational college library in the development of MOOC was analyzed to provide guidance and reference for the growing of higher vocational college library.

MOOC is developing rapidly, which has affected the contemporary higher education and exerted significant impact on the development and service of university library at the same time. Through summarizing, analyzing and comparing a series of MOOC strategies adopted by domestic and foreign university libraries, this article pointed out the problems while domestic university libraries dealt with MOOC, and enlightened that both the librarians and library should comply with the development of era in a positive attitude, and establish the MOOC service mode which was suitable for China's national conditions and finally realize the innovative reform of library by drawing lessons from research and practice experience of foreign university libraries and combining with the concrete conditions of the various types of university libraries in China.
