Strategy and Enlightenment of Domestic and Foreign University Libraries in the era of MOOC

Abstract: MOOC is developing rapidly, which has affected the contemporary higher education and exerted significant impact on the development and service of university library at the same time. Through summarizing, analyzing and comparing a series of MOOC strategies adopted by domestic and foreign university libraries, this article pointed out the problems while domestic university libraries dealt with MOOC, and enlightened that both the librarians and library should comply with the development of era in a positive attitude, and establish the MOOC service mode which was suitable for China's national conditions and finally realize the innovative reform of library by drawing lessons from research and practice experience of foreign university libraries and combining with the concrete conditions of the various types of university libraries in China.
