Abstract: University is the main force of China's basic research and advanced technology development with high general research level, which plays the leading role in the supply, innovation and dissemination of knowledge. Thus, it is the major consumer of patent information service. In view of the current situations of decentralized patent information service departments and resource in university, unclear division between the service sectors and non-professional service, the Vensim software was used to establish and analyze the patent information service mode based on the theory of system dynamics. The results showed that increasing the timeliness of feedback mechanism, enlarging the embedded scope for subject and appropriately improving the coordination mechanism were in favor of service ability promotion.
