Research on Wechat Reading Promotion of University Library Based on WCI: A Case Study of University Libraries in Liaoning

Abstract: Under the new media environment, wechat has become a new platform for the communication and interaction between university libraries and readers, which plays a very important role in innovating readers service and improving library service quality. This paper investigated and analyzed the wechat public platforms of 30 university libraries in Liaoning, and used the Wechat Communication Index(WCI)to quantify their effects on reading promotion, and finally proposed suggestions to advance wechat reading promotion.
