Abstract: This paper discussed the variation of related indicators of funded papers in forestry university journals. By taking eight kinds of forestry university journals as study objects and collecting data from Wanfang Database and CNKI, it made the statistical analysis on the ratio of funded papers, the number of funds and the funds per paper, the types of funds and other indicators. Results showed that: the ratio of funded papers in forestry university journals was higher than the general journals; the ratio of funded papers and the funds per paper in university journals substantially increased year by year; the ratio of funded papers had no significant correlation with 3-year impact factor; the ratio of funded papers about highly cited papers in university journals was slightly higher than the overall ratio of funded papers, and reviewed papers had a higher proportion in highly cited papers. It should have a rational view of funded papers, and focus on tracing their research direction, so as to provide a reference for soliciting papers.
