Abstract: With the development of digital publishing technologies and the popularity of electronic reading terminals, digital reading has entered the field of rural reading. In this case, the digital construction of rural library has become an inevitable development trend for rural library project. Due to the obvious advantages on content resource and reading way, as well as the impact of practical needs, policy orientation and economic actuation, the construction of digital rural library has appeared the upsurge. However, it also faced the complex and tangle plight including fund lack, management absence, copyright issues, etc. Only confronting reality and exploring innovation can we find a sustainable development road perfectly combining the imagination with reality for digital rural library.
