Investigation and Analysis on the Scientific Research of University Libraries in Gansu Province Based on CNKI Database

Abstract: According to the published articles of 27 University Libraries in Gansu Province in the decade between 2004-2013, this paper analyzed the number of articles, the journals' distribution, the key words, the coauthors, the core writer-group, the fund project ,etc., for the purpose of generalizing the scientific research status and development trend of university libraries in Gansu province. On the basic of the results, it pointed out the existing problems and proposed the corresponding measures which provided objective experience for promoting the development of west university libraries' scientific research.
