With the rapid development of information technology, the present storage methods of library can't settled for the diversification of stored form, the rapid growth of storage gross, the growing request of security, the high sharability and dynamic extensibility. Cloud storage is a network system, which includes a large number of various types of storage devices. These devices are set up by the software to work together to provide data storage and business functions. This paper analyzed the challenges of digital library storage at the big data age and the advantages of cloud storage, and proposed an application mode of cloud storage technology in the library management system, which solved the problem of mass storage in library.

This article analyzed the relation between the embedded subject service in library and the demand of academic research group on subject information, and designed the embedded service mode for academic research group, and then expounded its implementation to deepen the level of library subject service.

The supply of basic-level government’s agricultural information service has a positive practical significance in promoting agricultural production and rural social development. This paper analyzed the survey data of county-level agricultural administrative departments’ information service in five northwestern provinces (districts), and discussed the influencing factors and implementation path of county-level agricultural information service supply in northwest region, and then put forward the path of improving the basic-level government’s agricultural information service supply mechanism.

This paper discussed the development status of modern e-government, and introduced the key technology of J2EE and the corresponding MVC framework and B/S development model, and then described the three- layer structure model of J2EE and corresponding technology module.

To reveal the current status of scientific cooperation among universities of science and engineering, the cooperation frequency matrix and Salton index matrix were found based on the data of co-authored papers in universities of science and engineering in 2013 from the SCIE (Science Citation Index Expanded) database. The investigated universities composed of thirty six top100 ranking universities of science and engineering in China. The cooperation network was visualized by Ucinet and Netdraw. Results showed both the number of papers published and the number of co-authored papers in Tsinghua University was more than other universities of science and engineering; regional proximity was the main factors to affect cooperative strength; these universities of science and engineering had different interactive modes and role functions because each of them belonged to a different block model and occupied a different position.

According to the published articles of 27 University Libraries in Gansu Province in the decade between 2004-2013, this paper analyzed the number of articles, the journals' distribution, the key words, the coauthors, the core writer-group, the fund project ,etc., for the purpose of generalizing the scientific research status and development trend of university libraries in Gansu province. On the basic of the results, it pointed out the existing problems and proposed the corresponding measures which provided objective experience for promoting the development of west university libraries' scientific research.

Application of We Media such as Blog, Microblog and WeChat in library service was evaluated based on bibliometric analysis by retrieving articles from CNKI database. Yearly distribution of publications, journals, research subjects, core institutions, core authors and funding were studied. The results showed that the number of article was increased with time, while the research trend was changing form Blog to Microblog and then to WeChat, indicating library service could make use of the development of We Media to reach the rapid improvement. By using Citespace III, it found that the research hotspots were focused on how to use We Media to supply reader service, information service and library reference service, and "new media", "mobile library" and "service model" were the research frontiers recently.

WeChat has become a way of life for people. The use of WeChat public platform in carrying out micro-service has caused the attention of university library. By investigating the present situation of WeChat public platforms of "985 Project" University Libraries, it found that WeChat public platform opening, service contents and functions needed to be further improved. Suggestions were given as follows: knowing readers' needs of and focusing on users' experience; standardizing account application and strengthening the daily management; strengthening the function design and constructing micro information service; enhancing the propaganda and increasing the influence.

JAPAN/MARC is a Japanese MARC tape format. As the development of Japan’s MARC was relatively earlier and more mature with a high quality of MARC data, it has played an important role in the catalogue of China’s collection in Japanese literature. Through the analysis and research of JAPAN/MARC, this study drew the following features of JAPAN/MARC: no special field indicator; special field setting; different forms of access points; defined special fields for the multi volume books. Then, based on the comparative analysis of two kinds of MARC formats, it found the differences and corresponding relationship between fields, which could help to effectively use JAPAN/MARC bibliographic data and improve its quality and efficiency.

Focusing on the common problems in the current teaching, this paper put forward some solutions from four aspects to enhance the teaching effect of literature retrieval course and better achieve the information literacy education.

Starting from the present situation and problems of subject librarian’s job training, learning path map were put forward to set up a job training system for subject librarian. The advantages of learning path map were illustrated from the aspects, including that studying law made the ability of subject librarian more stable, setting milestones built the self-confidence of subject librarian, studying for using improved subject librarian's practical ability, and instructional self-study improved the efficiency of self-study. It concluded that learning path map was the efficient solution for the existing problems of subject librarian’s job training.

The emergence of omnimedia has brought great impacts and challenges to rural library, as well as opportunities for development. The article discussed the impacts and importance of omnimedia for rural library. Through the investigation on the basic status of 151 rural libraries and 1731 rural librarians in 12 counties, and the reading status of 80 villagers in 5 villages under the omnimedia circumstance, this paper presented new requirements of rural librarian’s digital ability and their training modes to meet the multi-culture needs of villagers.

In according with the database for the journals of environmental sciences in the annual report of index citation of Chinese academic journals for natural science and engineer technology in 2014, the comparative analysis was conducted in the aspects of journal volume, impact factor, citation frequency, and amount of papers published on the core journals of environmental sciences based on A General Guide of Chinese Core Journals (Sixth Edition) and Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD). The results were useful for environmental researchers to identify what types of journals and the journals with higher impact factors in this discipline were included in Chinese evaluation system of core journals, and to make objective decisions in choosing proper journals.
