Analysis on Librarian-Faculty Relations in University from Sociological Perspective

Abstract: In order to find out the preliminary relations between librarian and faculty, this paper firstly reviewed the social science and library science literature on librarian-faculty relations, and presented a preliminary sociological analysis of these relations. The survey showed there was an asymmetrical disconnection between librarian-faculty, and only librarians viewed this disconnection as problem.
