Local University Library’s Reading Promotion Service Based on Mobile Phone Users

Abstract: Mobile phone as the most widely used information transfer tool in people’s daily lives, contains many functions such as Internet, shopping, reading ,etc. Its mobility, portability, presently makes mobile phone users can access information resource anytime and anywhere. Based on the present situation of library, this paper mainly analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of teachers and students in using mobile phones to read, and discussed the mobile reading promotion service mode of local university. Ans then starting from the mobile phone users, it proposed to increase the rate of effective reading and seek better reading methods and ways to get more useful information resource.
