Abstract: This paper elaborated the changing role of librarians in university in information age, and analyzed the librarian's professional quality requests in new situation, and proposed to improve librarian's qualities and abilities through updating the librarian's notion, strengthening continuous education, conducting academic exchange, cultivating digital literacy, so as to meet the demand of library digitization under information situation.
