Abstract: The development process of library has evolved from traditional library to digital library and compound library, and been changing to smart library currently. With the changes in its specific form, its corresponding business process is also constantly adjusting, following as traditional library business process based on material flow, digital library business process based on information flow, compound library business process based on the mixed information flow and material flow, and smart library business process based on the comprehensively perceptive information flow and material flow. This paper analyzed the changes of library business process in these four stages by the chart, to provide some practical reference for library construction.
