To realize the intelligent management of study room in university library, the intelligent management system of university library study room was designed and developed on the platform of ARM Cortex-A8 based on the embedded Android operating system with free and open source code in this paper. At the same time, the selection of system hardware and system platform and the development of application database of Android platform were described. The results showed that the system realized successfully the functions of seat selection and intelligent management for study room, and also provided a reference for future more effective management of the seats of library study room.

This paper used data mining technology to analyze the readers’ historical records in the library at a timeaccording to the borrowing data of a certain university library. Through the statistical analysis of records at a time, it inferred the readers' behavior characteristics of different level, and determined their different demands of libraryliterature information service according to the behavior characteristics. Based on the demand information, library could provide real-time personalized professional service, as well as scientific basis for the optimization of library collection, so as to improve the literature resource guarantee rate of university library..

According to the development of college students’ digital reading, college libraries should adjust the service measures, and expand the service contents, and further establish a pattern of harmony development covering libraries, readers and resource.

With the development of computer technology, communication technology, network technology and digital library, some tremendous changes have happened in the information quantity, speed of information exchanging and people’s reading pattern, especially for the readership of academic library whoes needs for electronic resource have been increasing continuously, which brought a great challenge for academic library. The formation and development of academic library alliance played an important role in gratifying readers’ high requirements and efficiency, and in the optimal allocation, co-building and sharing and efficient service of library resource. Through analyzing the situation and problems about the development of Yunnan academic library alliance and the domestic and foreign successful experience, considering with the special situation of Yunnan province, this paper made a thinking and discussion about the future construction and development of academic library alliance.

There are lots of theories about library resource construction in China, but few contents on the subject resource development. This paper analyzed the existing problems of subject resource construction in agricultural university libraries, and put forward some measures, like making the long-term subject resource planning, mining and constructing subject resource in diversified forms, developing inter-library cooperation and resource sharing, expanding information channel by using acquisition, assessing library resource regularly and so on, so as to better optimize the subject resource and improve subject resource development of agricultural university libraries.

Some new characteristics of agricultural information resource sharing in network era have presented, which played a role in promoting agricultural development. Agricultural information resource sharing was not only involved the related technical problems, but also needed to have a sound mechanism as the guarantee. Taking Gansu province as an example, the study expounded the requirements and characteristics of agricultural information resource sharing in network era, and analyzed its situation and existing problems. On this basis, it put forward the strategies for constructing agricultural information resource sharing platform in Gansu province.

The stable running of ILAS server in the network environment is the most important part in the automatic system of library. In practical work, two servers with the same license installation often cannot run simultaneously on the same LAN. Through the retrieval of relevant information on the Internet, this paper finally solved the problem of license conflict. It analyzed the causes of this conflict and introduced IPF rules and init process.

Although suffering for great changes, the original core values of library have never changed. Both modern library and traditional library stored and shared a lot of literature, differing only in storage and sharing forms or media. In the past, storing paper documents relied on the premises of grand space, while cloud storage has become the trend now. The development of users’ participation in the construction and interaction of library information is to bring the exponentially growing demands for digital resource storage in library. Establishing HDFS cloud storage service for library users will become the fundamental guarantee for the development of modern library. This paper analyzed the scheme and implementation of establishing cloud storage service system for library users under Hadoop open-source project, and was willing to obtain improvement by colleagues.

This paper used journal papers on blueberry from CNKI during 2005-2014 in China to analyze the annual distribution, research field, core authors and their affiliations, journal distribution, citation frequency, ratio of funded papers, top ten institutions in publishing articles, and other aspects. It summed up the active status of such research field, high output writers, core journals, the most active research fields and research institutions, so as to provide reference for the research on the further development of blueberry industry in China.

Journal papers published by Huazhong Agricutural University (HAU) since its founding in 1952 and collected by Web of Science (WOS)’s relevant database were outlined. Papers by HAU from 2002 to 2013 in WOS’s SCI-E database were analyzed by bibliometric in areas of yearly distribution, journal source, research areas with high number of published papers, productive authors and highly cited papers, etc., so as to sum up the development of HAU’s teaching and research and provide reference for further increasing HAU’s research outputs.

The 10 years’ development status of agricultural science research was displayed with bibliometric method. Papers of agricultural science research were retrieved from Essential Science Indicator (ESI) database with a period of 2004 to 2014. The countries/territories, institutions, scientists, journals and highly cited papers were statistically analyzed with three indicators: papers, citations, as well as citations per paper. The numbers of papers and total cited frequency for agricultural science of China were high, whereas the citations per paper were low. The number of highly cited papers was few, which meant that there was disparity on the quality and academic influence between China and other countries. Eight papers were included in the Hot Papers of Essential Science Indicator, which showed that China had a strong innovation in agricultural science.

Based on the practice, this paper analyses the problems in the selection of description information source of Hong Kong and Taiwan version of the Chinese books and the standardization of retrieval points from aspects of titles items, statement of responsibility and series item, in the hope of providing useful reference for the standardization of cataloging work of Hong Kong and Taiwan version of the Chinese books.

The rapid development of Internet technology has made digital library become an important dimension of modern library. To provide readers with more quality information processing and organization service has become an important direction for the development of library. Therefore, personalized recommendation system based on readers’ interests and habits came into being. The personalized recommendation service of digital Library included customization service, personalized push service and data mining and decision-making service. The personalized service required appropriate system to achieve its functions, including users’ behavior data collection module, users’ interests and preference data analysis module, algorithm and recommendation model module. Modern intelligent search technology, data mining technology and information push technology provided technical supports for the implementation of digital library’s personalized recommendation system.

Based on the classification statistical data of 36 institutions in master education and 9 institutions in doctor education of library science in 2015, the paper analyzed the present status of postgraduate education in library science in China from the aspects including the geographical distribution, admission departments, research directions, etc. And it compared these data between master and doctor, with the previous study data. On the basis of statistical analysis, it explored and analyzed the current development of China’s postgraduate education in library science, and then pointed out the existing problems and suggested some reference ways.

According to the requirements of sci-tech novelty retrieval specification on literature retrieval, and combining with the actual cases of sci-tech novelty retrieval, some retrieval skills in selecting retrieval words and writing retrieval formula were put forward, and the relevant verification standards for retrieval results were proposed. Finally, it was pointed out that selecting accurate and comprehensive retrieval words and writing reasonable retrieval formula would directly affect the quality of novelty retrieval reports.

With the needs of information construction in university library, cloud computing has brought a lot of benefits for the information resource construction of university library, and also caused some problems, including data security, digital resource copyright and network. This paper expressed some views on the private cloud issue in the information construction of university library.

Under the guidance of citation analysis, this paper used visualization toolkits to analyze some related essays in the field of journal evaluation index, including author cooperation, co-citation, co-word and so on. The selected visualization toolkits were HISTCITE and CITESPACE. It firstly described some basic functions of these visualization toolkits, and explained the meaning of results. Then it applied the data of WOS to the visualization toolkits, and briefly analyzed the results. Finally, it tried to use this method to find out core authors, journals and institutions, which could help new learners understand the points of this field quickly.

A lot of journalists take measures to organize special issues to expand and enhance journals’ influence and quality. However, not all of the special issues can improve and help the development of journals. This paper introduced how Journal of Integrative Agriculture (JIA) organized special issues from several aspects, including selecting topic, peer-reviewing, editing, publishing and etc. Based on the experience and problems in the process of organizing special issues, effective ways were put forward to enhance JIA’s quality.

The necessity and advantages of creating professional scientific and technical journals in English in “985 project and platform” universities in China were analyzed from the perspective of international development of journal. First, the amount and scale of these journals sponsored by these universities were small, resulting in a large number of high-quality scientific and technical papers submitted to foreign journals, which posed a serious threat on the safety of science and technology information resource in China. Second, the development of disciplinary construction of international communication platform in these universities made it necessary to establish professional scientific and technical journals in English. On the other hand, these universities had many advantages in creating professional scientific and technical journals in English, including: 1) with many domestic or international-class disciplines; 2) with strong scientific research strength and many publications funded by national level science foundation; 3) with a large number of outstanding talents; 4) with more and more frequent international cooperation and exchanges to prepare a large number of international author resource; 5) with rich experiences in running journals. Based on the characteristics of sci-tech periodicals’ advertisements, this paper analyzed the key points of advertisement design, including paying more attention on rational appeal rather than perceptual appeal, preferring stable style rather than fancy, showing characteristic with unified style, avoiding neglecting text layout, font selection, the blank page and communication with advertisers etc. With the development of new media, advertisements of sci-tech periodicals could be pushed by Weibo, public accounts of Wechat or APP Clients. So the art editor of sci-tech periodicals must constantly improve their aesthetic accomplishment and professional skills, in order to design the advertisements with business value and aesthetics, and maximize the effectiveness of advertising.

Mobile reading is a new way of reading rising in recent years. This paper first introduced the mobile reading, and then explored how university libraries used their advantages to better service university students under the mobile reading environment.

Based on the statistical reports of China's Internet (2004-2013) and the changing trend of paper and electronic resources in university, this research proposed three strategies in university libraries' service innovation: making extensive use of new media and technologies to further strengthen library service promotion; making full use of resource advantage to transform to new study mode; introducing new storage mode to personalize the resource sharing and reader storage.

The paper analyses the theories of Virtual Reference Service home and abroad. by the Fuzhou University resource sharing platform (referred Fulink platform), for example, from the operation of Fulink platform, Fujian University Library Virtual Reference Service (network survey deadline date in early December 2014), presented by means of Fulink platform to carry out the idea of collaborative virtual reference service and recommend collaborative virtual reference mode of operation.

Taking the Library of Tibet University for Nationalities as an example, this paper analyzed how to change to reply the rush of network development to the monopoly of library document information service by researching university library and its all types of users.

With the development of network information technology, new book recommendation service by network has become an important way for the utilization of library resource and the active service for readers. Research on the new book recommendation service by network of 10 university libraries in Jilin province reflected the present situation of university library’s book recommendation service in a certain extent, and contributed to the university library to find its own problems and constantly improve the service mode, and it also provided reference for the development of book recommendation by network.

With the supporting system of library professionalism, the encouragement and supervision of regulations as well as further education and training opportunities and measures, it was possible to help librarians to achieve their professional goals and find their sense of professional self-identity during their work, so as to promote the rapid and healthy development of library.

Starting from Maslow's hierarchy of needs, this thesis put forward how to take measures to meet the basic needs of young librarians and arouse their enthusiasm for work, so as to make library work in all the various aspects go well.
