With the arrival of big data era, people have more and more intense desire for the quick access to archival information and the convenient operation for archival business, while traditional service mode of archives can’t meet the demands of modern society. Based on the analysis of users’ demands, archives business types, business process and functional demands, the university archives online service platform was designed and built by focusing on the demands of users and applying workflow technology, electronic commerce technology and logistics technology, to implement the online operation for all types of archives business, which improved the efficiency of business processing and regulated archival business, as well as made data statistics and analysis convenient and improved the remote service ability of archives service.

Under the internet environment, traditional service mode of agricultural document information service is hard to meet the needs of users, while the SNS community based on Six Degrees of Separation theory has already been widely used in the internet. This paper applied the SNS network service mode in agricultural library service, and put forward relevant practical measures considering the advantages and operation of this new mode.

In this paper, the relationship between information resource integration and sharing and users in multi campus library was discussed, and measures to enhance the information resource integration and sharing effect of university with multi campus were analyzed from three aspects, including that resource integration was the basis, resource sharing was the target and user was the core.

This article compared the Access World News database and PressDisplay database, and discussed the advantages and problems of these two major global media databases, and then analyzed the working strategies for librarians in different task case. It also put forward that librarians should fully play the functional advantages of each database, and focus on the problems of databases with manual intervention and post processing, so as to make the maximum data mining and analysis for research subject.

In the information society, electronic resource has been increasingly becoming one of the most important resources for university library. After a dozen years’ development, compared with the original construction of electronic resource, the effective use of electronic resource in university library has become the focus. This paper analyzed the factors affecting the effective use of library’s electronic resource, and proposed some strategies from three aspects, including strengthening the propaganda of university library’s electronic resource, increasing the training of electronic resource retrieval and improving network infrastructure and service environment.

The paper explained the basic characteristics of digital library in brief, and analyzed the sharing system model of digital library from resource organization, resource sharing network architecture, resource sharing access control and resource sharing retrieval, and then pointed out the four resulting technical problems. At last, based on the above research, it proposed to construct the technical supporting system for resource sharing of digital library, and provide basic service and innovative service for resource sharing of digital library.

The librarian home website of Beijing Technology & Business University Library with functions of information dissemination, vocational communication and study, librarian zone, open registration and voting, was constructed by using WordPresss to provide a communication platform for vocational study, talents display, rights protection, which realized the applications of subject information service platform, library gateway, book recommendation and communication platform and new-generation library OPAC, and improved library service level as well as saved a substantial amount of funds.

Facing the difficulties of present cited reference retrieval service and the automatic demand of library’s cited reference retrieval service, this paper introduced the development environment, software configuration, design detail and critical code of a cited reference retrieve service software developed by Library of South China University of Technology and based on .NET. According to the evaluation of practical application, this software had good accuracy, convenience, applicability and efficiency. Finally, it put forward the improving direction.

The paper did a keywords analysis in the web information retrieval articles of core journals included in CNKI from 2000 to February 2014 by using bibliometrics and CiteSpace Ⅲ software, and derived the keywords knowledge mapping and high-frequency keywords during this 14 years. After filtering the high-frequency keywords, it summarized the research hotspots of China’s web information retrieval since the 21 century and predicted its trend.

Taking a total of 504 published papers researching on the topic of mobile library retrieved from CNKI, the paper drew the knowledge graph of mobile library research field by using the information visualization tool CiteSpace and combining with bibliometrics method, and revealed the representative institutions and authors, high cited literature and research hotspots, and then introduced the research conclusions.

Choosing the literature about information service in Web of Science database as the study objects, this paper drew the knowledge graph of this field by using CiteSpace. Through the analysis of countries and institutions distribution, co-citation and keywords, it showed the research foundation and research hotspots of information service field, so as to provide theoretical basis for faster and better understanding this field, and reference for researchers’ quantitative analysis of literature.

This paper used the co-word method, 2-mode network method and visualization method to study Informetrics in China, constructed and visualized author-keyword 2-mode network, author-year 2-mode network and year-keyword 2-mode network to show the development of Informetrics in China. The results indicated that: the development of Informetrics in China entered a stable development period, and there might be 45 related papers researching on Informetrics in 2014; the relationship between author and research contents promoted the potential possible cooperation in Informetrics; the frame of core research group and no-core research group, classic keywords and no-classic keywords was formed, which further promoted the stable development of China’s Informetrcis.

Through using SATI3.2 to make statistics about high-frequency words, dispatch agencies and journals sources, and applying social analysis software UCINET6.0 to change the built high-frequency keywords co-occurrence matrix data into a network diagram as well as centrality and cluster analysis, the paper analyzed papers about competitive intelligence and social network, and further studied the research hotspots and developments of social network and competitive intelligence papers.

Library collection digitization is one of the important means for the construction of digital resource in libraries, as well as the only way to adapt the needs for the development of digital age, at the same time it has also faced to much risks of copyright infringement. Based on the study of typical judicial cases, this paper did not only conclude the types of copyright risk during the library collection digitization and service, but also offered a solution in the end.

In the network era, great changes have taken place in the acquisitioning work of university library. Focusing on this, this paper analyzed the difficulties and problems of university library’s acquisition work and put forward the variety of scientific methods to choose books, so as to improve the quality of acquisitioning books and meet reader’s need on literature information.

Combining field investigation with questionnaire, the development status of rural library in the 20 regions in 8 provinces was studied. Through the statistical analysis of questionnaire data, the development status of rural library was mastered and the existing problems were cleared. Then some suggestions to promote the sustainable development of rural library were put forward.

By discussing the changes of library’s survival environment and service mode brought by MOOC, this paper put forward some reasonable ideas for common university library to improve information services, including building the MOOC course navigation, embedding information literacy education, using MOOC for librarian’s continuing education and organizing MOOC learning team for students.

The flipped classroom teaching mode was used in the information retrieval and utilization course with students’ self-assessment learning task list as framework, in order to enhance students’ learning interests and improve knowledge learning and absorption. The self-assessment learning task list was designed, which reconstructed the teaching contents to single executable task and allowed teachers and students to make teaching coordination around this list in and off class.

Definition and the present state of mobile phone addiction were developed in this article. The questionnaire sheet was designed and conducted among college students in our university, focusing on the student's characteristics including out of control and invalidation. Results indicated that mobile phone addiction was close-related to gender and major but not related to age and background. Most students were out of control on time during mobile phone reading, but not blind. Some suggestions for the measurement of university management, social attention, mobile phone operators and students were given.

The new media era represented by mobile internet and smart-phone has already come. It has been changing the way of retrieving information by readers, leading to new requirements of information literacy education for university libraries. Based on the characteristics of new media and the requirements of readers’ information literacy in new media era, university libraries should adjust the course system and innovate teaching mode, establishing scientific and efficient assessment mechanism, to make the information literacy of university students meet the need of development in new media era.

Through the status survey of more than one thousand students in nearly fifty majors in Kunming’s five universities, the current status of university students’ information literacy education in Yunnan was identified based on the data analysis, containing that the weak information literacy consciousness of students had affected the improvement of their information knowledge and skills, and the low information literacy moral code of students had influenced their true judgment about internet information. Focusing on the existing problems, some related countermeasure suggestions were put forward, like objective and accurate and practical information literacy education standards were the basis for regulating university students’ information literacy education, and the combination of short-term library training and routine course education was the guarantee for improving university students’ information literacy education.

This article analyzed the principles of network information access, and put forward that users’ low information literacy was the cause of information access barriers. Then it introduced the barriers from information consciousness, psychological one-sidedness, information resource situation awareness, language and mastery of modern information technology, and proposed the cultivation schemes to improve information literacy.

The excellent learning and research environment in university library has attracted lots of students and readers on and off campus. In this way, an outstanding problem was aroused that the limited learning space (especially the number of reading seats) could not satisfy both the internal and external readers. This paper conducted a sampling survey on the effective learning space among university libraries nationwide, and explored the scientific planning of library layout, the sound usage of limited resource and the expansion of limited learning space in university library from three levels: management pattern, regulation establishment and the concept of big data.

Taking the reform of information retrieval course in Shihezi University as an example, expert analysis was used to evaluate the learning effect under blended learning mode. The total score was divided into four parts, the significance of which were computer test score>practice score>discussion score>online score, 17%, 37%, 13% and 34% of total score, respectively. For online score, the significance of each part were total online time>reading frequency >frequency of entering course>login frequency, 13%, 19%, 30% and 38% of online score, respectively.

The paper discussed the present situation and trend of information literacy education in the United States and introduced the program mode, process, contents and new techniques. As the information literacy education in American colleges has obtained great achievements, China’s university library should propose normative information literacy education standards and build dynamic open education system, applying new techniques and methods to improve the level of information literacy education.

Effective reading promotion of university library is based on the full understanding of college students’ information needs. Through the questionnaire investigation on college students’ group characteristics, this paper analyzed the present situation and development trend of reading promotion toward college students, aiming to help university library understand the reading demands of college students and present a reference for the reading promotion of university library.

Developing a sound academic appraisal system for scientific journals is the premise for facilitating the normalization and benign development of scientific journals. This paper analyzed the underlying problems in domestic academic appraisal system, and summarized the existed assessment systems and compared their advantages and disadvantages, and finally put forward the suggestions according to China’s national conditions to improve the academic appraisal system for scientific journals in China.

In order to spread the SI system and change the chaotic situation about the enzyme activity unit of CAT and POD and APX, we downloaded 45 papers published in 2013 and 2014 containing CAT, POD and APX from springer database, and analyzed the catalytic mechanism and the method for determination of enzyme activity and the definition method of enzyme activity about CAT, POD and APX. We found that these enzyme activities of three enzymes were expressed by reduction rate of reactant amount or increasing rate of resultant amount which they catalyzed, and the amount which catalyzed could be detected at a certain wavelength. So through molar extinction coefficient of the reactant or resultant at its certain wavelength, all kinds of enzyme activity unit of CAT and POD and APX could be convert to IS unit by using three formulas, for example, extinction coefficient for hydrogen peroxide was 43.6 L/ (mol·cm) at 240 nm, for tetraguaiacol was 26.6 L/ (mmol·cm) at 470 nm, extinction coefficient for ascorbic acid was 2.8 L/ (mmol·cm) at 290 nm.

The block printing in China began in Tang Dynasty, developed in the Five Dynasties and flourished in Song Dynasty. Song Dynasty was the golden age for the development of printing. There was no doubt that no other dynasties could compare to the Southern and Northern Song Dynasty in printing, concerning either the large quantities of organizations, the broad areas, the massive scales, the elaborate techniques, the rich contents or the flourishing book trade and wild transportation. The reasons for the brilliant achievements of printing in Song Dynasty should be owned to the policies of valuing literature and literati, the booming imperial competitive examination and education, the good atmosphere of reading and researching, the development of economy, the progress of technologies and the prosperity of industry and commerce.

South China Sea has become a hot topic in regional research. The Area Study Library of Xiamen University Library cooperated with researchers on this topic to establish a digital academic journal of dynamic data named South China Sea Bulletin. With professional skills and literacy, librarians have proved to be the useful assistants for researchers in the collection, collation and dissemination of academic dynamic data. The problems faced by the journal in publishing and distribution were analyzed. In the future, digital humanity technology and new media methods would be used to provide more choices for people in collecting and pushing academic information.

In the subject service, knowledge discovery means that subject librarians use the new knowledge discovery model and new data mining, text mining and content management technologies to discover the potential knowledge and find the potential demand of teachers, providing support and guide for teaching and research. This paper proposed a new knowledge discovery model based on process driven strategy and introduced its application in subject service.

Migrant workers have become an important group in the process of China’s social development at present because of their lower life and marginal work. Due to the huge population, the quality enhancement of this group is not only related to the social stability and harmony, but also closely related to the overall progress of society. Therefore, maximizing the social resource to serve migrant workers has become a broad consensus. This article first analyzed the existing problems in China’s urban public library service for the vulnerable group of migrant workers, and then discussed the restricting factors, and finally gave the realistic paths for using urban public library to service migrant workers.

Through analyzing the current situation and problems of China’s digital reference service, the essay elaborated the advantages of applying cloud computing in digital reference service, and introduced the construction of some new digital reference service modes, such as multiple accesses supporting mode, user-oriented mode and personalized mode.

IR and subject information service in university both have advantages and disadvantages. Exploring the approaches of IR in supporting subject information service could make them cooperate and develop together, and bring new opportunities and challenges to subject information service, as well as raise the usage rate of IR.

The development process of university library’s social service can be summarized into three stages: initial stage（1998-2002）, development stage（2003-2008） and booming stage （2009-2014）. The analysis was made with the virtue of literature statistics. It concluded that the theoretical research developed well and some practice was also carried out, however, the development of university library’s socialization was not satisfied, while the empirical research was mainly about the current situation instead of the results and influence after university library’s opening to the society.

Digitization is the mainstream direction in the development of modern university library. As the information technology is increasingly advanced, the development of university library has ushered the era of big data with the accumulation and utilization of digital resource, which created favorable conditions for university library to adopt lean service model and perfectly accomplish the core mission of reader-book matching. The lean service of university library based on big data is to make full use of big data resource and subdivide reader types, as well as optimize service process and advance interface management.

Based on the analysis on the basic concept, importance and advantages of university library information service for enterprises, specific countermeasures were discussed to provide university library information service for enterprises, aiming to promote university library to participate actively in the enterprise information service and play the utility value of information resource to accelerate the development of society and economy.

The changes of university library brought by RFID application were discussed in this paper, such as building reconstruction, resource integration, institution reform etc. The changes of management and service mode were also analyzed, such as learning environment, borrowing and returning mode, borrowing and returning time and the changes of librarians’ role in service. The problem about how to improve the service of university library was also involved and some methods were put forward.

Aiming to the massive information resource, lower informatization, uneven librarian quality and diverse needs in university library, and referring to the successful experience in Europe’s and America’s university libraries, the idea to establish service-oriented university library was proposed in this paper, and corresponding countermeasures covering collection resource, information construction, personnel quality and cultural atmosphere were discussed under the existing conditions.

The introduction of university students participating in the work of library service has been the trend of library’s development at present. In this article, taking Yanshan University for example, the current situation and problems of work-study jobs and volunteer service in university library were introduced respectively. And the new service model combining work-study and volunteers was proposed and discussed from the post setting, management form, training form and incentive system to maximally optimize the human resource allocation of library.

According to the current problems of personal time management and the great importance to establish personal time management system, the article elaborated the process and contents of personal GTD time management system, and built the personal GTD time management system based on specification process under the network environment.
