Thoughts on the new Library System Based on the Contrastive Analysis of ILASⅡand INTERLIB

Abstract: The functions of library automation integration system affect library management and operation directly. Through the contrastive analysis of ILASⅡand INTERLIB on acquisitioning, cataloging and circulation function, this paper gave some thought on new library system. During the period of 12th Five-year Plan, China’s library should be composite library, whose new system need be able to deal with different kinds of challenges, and provide characteristic service, including resource management, booklist data opening, user experience service, personalized service and spatial service.
