Research on the Application Model of Adaptive Leadership in Library

Abstract: In modern society, library has been facing complicated competition of innovation, transformation and sustainable development. The traditional and vertical leadership structure has made libraries can't deal with the culture and technology shock. Adaptive leadership emerged as the times required, may be helpful for libraries to resolve problems. This paper analyzed the concept and connotation of adaptive leadership, then summarized the application cases in HKUST, and at last tried to build an application model of adaptive leadership in libraries, so as to provide references for general applicability.
