Silent Usher in University Library Buildings Analysis on the Circulation Layout of Architectural Design in Contemporary University Libraries

Abstract: With the development of the times, contemporary university library buildings have changed from single and enclosed space form to flexible and diversified space form, which bring new requirements for the layout pattern of library buildings. Reasonable clever layout can directly affect the daily reading activities and management work of university library. This paper explored a systematic research from the circulation design principles, types and methods, to provide theoretical reference for the architectural design of university library, and help for the daily management of the library through the analysis about the role of circulation layout in the path connection, division and combination.
