The new Roles of Librarian in E-science Environment

Abstract: Librarian is professional who provides information service for users, and new environment has brought new requirements. Through analyzing the impacts of e-science environment on library, this paper gave the new roles of librarians in the e-science environment to make them know new mission, and proposed some advice on how to adapt to the new roles, so as to promote librarians to improve their ability and carry out information service better in new era.
