On the Expansion of Evaluation in Humanities and Social Sciences field in Big Data Environment

Abstract: In the big data environment, the evaluation of humanities and social sciences has obtained good development opportunities. This paper uses the methods of literature investigation and systematic analysis, based on the problems of the evaluation system mentioned by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the symposium on philosophy and Social Sciences. This paper lists the existing problems in the evaluation of the humanities and social sciences, and concludes that the environment of big data can be divided into the following parts to expand and be supplied: the idea of evaluation, the data resources of evaluation, the evaluation subject and object in the Evaluation System, evaluation methods, tools, indicators and the traditional evaluation of humanities and social sciences.
