The Application of Identifying Current Periodicals Using Serial Numbers in Microsoft Excel

Abstract: Microsoft Excel is a computer application software with mature functions which plays an important role in periodical management. This article studies the characteristics and advantages of managing current issues of periodicals by serial number identification, and analyzes the feasibility of applying Microsoft Excel to carry out this management and the key points in the process. It also points out some problems existing in the management approach of current issues by serial number identification and puts forward the solutions as well.
