Analysis and Reflection on the Community Service of University Library in Recent 15 Years

Abstract: The researches on the community service of university library in China have developed from the early theoretical discussion to continuous practical exploration. The academic circles have been continuously improving the understanding of the community service of university library and drawing lessons from the advanced experience of developed countries to guide their practice and in-depth reflection. Based on the sufficient investigation and research of literature, this paper, by adopting the detailed reading of the texts, summarized the related researches on the community service of university library between 2002 and 2016, and further analyzed the characteristics, research focus and future development of community service of university library.
