Abstract: reading is the main way that people broaden their horizons and understanding of the world. Good reading habits can show peoples’ positive mental outlooks, the degree of civilization and cultural deposits of a country. Library reading, as the main carrier of reading, has a very profound impact on peoples’ reading. Therefore, to make use of recommended books and other methods, playing a role in the promotion of reading in the library, and cultivating reading habits of the whole society, in order to play a positive role in promoting social development.
