Abstract: Librarian's professional ability plays an important role in the development of library. The arrival of big data era puts forward new requirements for librarians' professional ability. From the concept of Librarians' occupation ability, this paper pointed out the existing deficiencies, and analyzed the path to improve the occupation ability of librarian from library and librarian.
