Abstract: MOOC of development has triggered the innovation in Western Higher Education, also impacted the service by libraries. This paper briefly introduced MOOC, and its thought sources and features, and then presented the concept of information literacy and the status of information literacy instruction in high vocational colleges, late reviewed MOOC research of information literacy instruction both at home and abroad, finally proposed innovative approaches to information literacy instruction in higher vocational colleges by referencing World Elite MOOC experience, and developing MOOC standard for high vocational information literacy, and innovating the mood of flipping class learning, and, embedding information literacy instruction with micro MOOC, setting up a MOOC information literacy curriculum system in higher vocational education and MOOC sharing mechanisms of higher vocational information.
