Transgenic maize is one of the most popular crops in the field of transgenosis, whose transgenic technology has certain representativeness. In order to better understand and grasp the development status of transgenic maize research, the paper applied Innography patent retrieval analysis database to analyze the applied years, competitors, inventors and core patents of transgenic maize patents in the world, and showed the present situation and development trend of transgenic maize.

As a most important quality character of rice grain, amylose content is always a hot issue in scientific research on rice. Rice of low amylose content, with the character of good taste, fluffy texture, glossy appearance, and excellent expansibility for food processing, is widely accepted by the broad masses of customers. This paper reviewed the research on inheritance of amylose content, mapping and cloning of amylose content gene, and gave the outlook of low amylose content rice breeding research and application.

Crop discipline is one of the most important and historical essential subjects in Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), and is also a backbone discipline in the system construction. In this article, the research ability and level of CAAS was analyzed from different angles and in multiple forms based on the empirical data analysis and evaluation, including scientific and technical supporting capability, innovation ability and industry influence. The results showed that in recent five years, the crop discipline of CAAS had strong strength in comprehensive development and played a leading role in domestic institutions with a growing academic influence. It also found some weaknesses of discipline development, like crop physiology ecology and cultivation area was relatively weak; the research in corn was lay behind in general; in terms of breeding, there was a lack of good varieties for the main crops such as rice and wheat, whether on promotion value or influence. Finally, the countermeasures to solve these problems were put forward.

Resource discovery system is the latest resource integration and service integration system. It accomplished the networking subject service with new technology based on the contents of library discipline service, including integrating subject characteristics repository, optimizing discipline and curriculum resource network navigation, embedding reference discipline service, so as to create a network information literacy education space and provide social network and mobile service.

Intangible cultural heritage and local literature are tightly linked together. This paper firstly introduced the definition and content about these two things, and then investigated the current situation about the collection of local literature and intangible cultural heritage in six libraries in western Guangdong, analyzing the advantages and the deficiencies about the work of local literature and creating the direction on digitization and co-construction and sharing. At last, it gave some suggestions for the digital construction about intangible cultural heritage and local literature.

The demand for digital literature emerged, and became more urgent, which restricted the development level of library. This article focused on how university library explored a path of its digital literature construction to meet the research needs and discipline building needs of teachers and students, so as to provide reference.

Aiming at the low usage rate of university library’s special digital collection, the paper introduced LibGuides, an American knowledge guidance system, and then proposed the construction scheme of university library’s special digital collection by using LibGuide to build collection guide and make users convenient for query and application. Furthermore, it analyzed the case of SDC project of Tampa Library in University of South Florida, and obtained some enlightenments on constructing China’s special digital collection guide.

This paper introduced the compilation theory and technology, structure and function features of “Military Classification Theme Mapping Table”, a large reference book of classification theme integration for military information retrieval language.

The structure of self-check system in libraries was introduced, and some self-check systems from several manufacturers were tested. The existing problems were illustrated and analyzed, and the position of barcode on the cover of books was discussed. Quantitative testing results were given by testing the average time of book borrowing and returning, abnormal conditions, multi-book detection, reader evaluation, security and functional of magnetic stripe verification, which could provide reference for the research and procurement of self-check system.

In the information explosion era, huge data has brought great difficulties to the management of digital library. However, the emerging data mining technology is to help solve the problem. Data mining technology can process and analyze the huge date, and dig out the information hidden behind the data and support decision-making, making digital library easier to management. This paper described the steps of data mining technology, the status of data mining technology in domestic and abroad research, and some suggestions and application in library management, which were significant to improve the management level of digital library.

Taking the papers searched from SCI database and published by Medical School of Xi’an Jiaotong University from 2010 to 2014 as source, and using the document analysis of SCI and information visualization of CiteSpace3.9.R5, this paper made the statistics and visual analysis on the citation data of published papers in the past five years. The results showed that foreign periodicals, especially English periodicals were the essential reference for the teachers and scholars in universities during their teaching and research. Therefore, library should allocate the periodical resource rationally and optimize the structure of periodical collection to improve the periodical guarantee rate and provide firm support for scholastic education research and subject building.

To clarify the research status and trend of community of practice, the paper combined bibliometric analysis with social network analysis and used Excel, Bibexcel, Ucinet and Netdraw to analyze the research achievements in the field of community of practice based on the data from SCI. By counting issued year, subject, country and keywords and making visualization analysis on author, keywords and citation, it elaborated the development of community of practice to provide reference for further research.

Library is the heart of the University. It is the second class of students. The value and significance of the existence of library is to meet the needs of readers, service teaching and scientific research. However, the library anxiety has seriously hindered the use of the library, which makes library can’t play its roles. This paper analyses the causes of library anxiety from three aspects of the library three elements, library building, library collections, librarians, and points out the concrete improvement measures about these three aspects, in order to find out the methods and ways to resolve the library anxiety.

With the advancement of internet technology, university library’ online reference service has become diversified and integrated. The service methods mainly included frequently asked questions, real-time reference service, e-mail consulting and message form consulting, which existed problems of single service method, low utilization, vaguely defined user categories and low penetration of joint reference service. Measures like paying attention to survey users’ needs, conducting tracking service of regular users, improving users’ information literacy, strengthening publicity, carrying out joint reference and enhancing reference openness were proposed.

The article compared the subscription lists of four booksellers with four online retailers by using sampling survey method, and made a comparative analysis from the completeness and timeliness. As the online retailers could provide more books than booksellers with new books appeared earlier and arrived faster, it proposed that library should pay attention to the use of online platform and establish a new procurement pattern with the combination of booksellers and online Retailers.

Lastly, the impact rule of MOOC development on higher vocational college library is researched from three sieds such as talent, interaction and resource, the great opportunity of higher vocational college library in the development of MOOC is analyzed and the guidance and reference are provided for the growing of higher vocational college library.

This article was based on a survey conducted on graduate students from Beijing Technology & Business University in 3 topics: library infrastructure, resource utilization and subject service. It quantitatively analyzed students’ reasons and frequency of visiting the library, methods to identify relevant scientific research resource, disadvantages encountered and most needed scholarly services. It also gained insight into students’ acceptance and satisfaction of library's various services and uncovered the differences of scientific research needs in students’ disciplines, grades and types of degree. At last, according to graduate students' research practice and preferences about the library, it proposed the strategies for improving scholarly service.

The correct use of patent strategy boosted the rapid development of enterprises. Huawei changed the traditional values that Chinese companies can only imitate, not create.

According to the demand characteristics of editor staffs in scientific periodicals, this paper probed into the training and construction path of scientific periodicals’ editor team by taking Journal of Henan Agricultural Sciences as an example. Behavioral science theory, with people as the center of management, has emphasized the humanity concern and spiritual needs of librarians to generate long-term incentive effect. Based on the fair theory and demand theory of behavioral science, by analyzing the status quo of librarians’ incentive in university library, this paper proposed the following thoughts and suggestions: building scientific and people-oriented performance appraisal system, creating a harmonious cultural atmosphere, providing favorable working environment and helping librarians realize self-development and self-actualization.

Based on competency dictionary and existing literature, the thesis adopted behavior event interview to collect relevant data concerning librarians’ competency characteristics through referring to the working characteristics of library and the competency list. Consequently, interview data was inspected pursuant to scientific analysis method. After verifying and differentiating competency characteristics, it accordingly constructed the librarians’ competency model, as well as confirmed 15 competencies with 8 kinds of benchmark characteristics and 7 kinds of differential characteristics.
