Service Orientation and Function Design of New Library Based on Collaborative Innovation Taking Library of Beijing Union University as an Example

Abstract: With the implementation of China's "2011 plan", libraries have won new space for their own development in the process of supporting collaborative innovation. This paper analyzed the current situation of management and service in Library of Beijing Union University, and conducted the service orientation and function design of new library, and then put forward the new function of collaborative knowledge service followed the concept of people- orientation, collection for use, service orientation and collaborative innovation. At last, it constructed the operation mode of knowledge service platform which showed the existence value of university library under collaboration innovation.
