Research on the Reading Promotion in University Library——Based on the Investigation of College Students’ Group Characteristics

Abstract: The group of college students is an important service object for the reading promotion of university library. Effective reading promotion of university library is based on the full understanding of college students’ information needs. Through the questionnaire investigation on college students’ group characteristics, this paper analyzed the present situation and development trend of reading promotion toward college students, aiming to help university library understand the reading demands of college students and present a reference for the reading promotion of university library.
