Well-known Think-Tank's Organization System, Operation Mechanism and Implications for the Construction of Agricultural Think Tank

Abstract: Think tanks are an important intellectual support for national decision-making. Analyzing the organization system and operation mechanism of well-known think tanks both at home and abroad and summing up their experience are of great significance for promoting the construction of domestic agricultural think tanks. This article elaborates the representative think tanks at home and abroad and their organizational system from the three dimensions of official think tank, independent think tank and college think tank. Further, this paper analyzes the operation mechanism of representative well-known think tanks at home and abroad from four aspects: funds and management, talent introduction and management, promotion and dissemination of achievements, and foreign cooperation and exchange. Finally, put forward suggestions to promote the construction of China's agricultural think tank based on the above analysis.
