Research on the Hierarchical Information Service of University Library Based on the Graduate Students’ Information Behaviors and Demands

Abstract: By means of interview and questionnaire survey, the information behaviors and demands of different levels of graduate students were compared. And the strategy that university library should meet the readers' information service at different levels according to the research needs of students was proposed. University library should be in accordance with the different needs of the three-layer service system for graduate students, and rebuild different librarian service team, and strengthen the resource security system and provide information service for different levels of graduate students, so as to maximize the information needs of graduate students.
