Abstract: Although suffering for great changes, the original core values of library have never changed. Both modern library and traditional library stored and shared a lot of literature, differing only in storage and sharing forms or media. In the past, storing paper documents relied on the premises of grand space, while cloud storage has become the trend now. The development of users’ participation in the construction and interaction of library information is to bring the exponentially growing demands for digital resource storage in library. Establishing HDFS cloud storage service for library users will become the fundamental guarantee for the development of modern library. This paper analyzed the scheme and implementation of establishing cloud storage service system for library users under Hadoop open-source project, and was willing to obtain improvement by colleagues.
